Like we had said that the NH7 Weekender would be the music festival India long deserved, we weren’t wrong. Music from genres across, one could see how closely knit the entire music industry was. Those who missed this festival, missed being part of Indian Music History being written. One of the attendees was quoted “We here because we’ve been told to visit our Gods once in a while”. Mehr Singh brings you a snapshot of the festival.

The 3 day music festival opened at the Bacardi Rock Arena with Noiseware on stage.

Vian Fernandes from Mumbai based Infernal Wrath. The vocalist Afaque went off stage and into the mosh pit.

Vishwesh from Scribe and his on-stage dramatics. They even got the other bands on stage for a mosh pit.

The Black Arena closed on Day 1 with Bhayanak Maut.

Vishal Dadlani on the staircase soothing his throat with a drink before Pentagram went on stage for the hip-hop set.

Day 2 stared with Airport. They had recently released a video Raat.

Ankur Tewari and the Ghalat Family. Loved the track Zaalim Alien.

Bangalore based Folk Rock band Swarathma on stage. Jishnu Dasgupta was in his usual jolly mood. Vasu Dixit was seen without the ghodi this time.

Garreth D'Mello playing as Dischordian, his solo project.

Indie music's funny man Rohit Pereirra aka P-Man hosting Koffee with P-Man, a spoof on Star World

Susheela Raman's performance was on the most awaited one on Day 2. The UK based Tamil singer brought a energetic and intense live performance to the Dewarists stage.

Himanshu Joshi with Indian Ocean. The band announced a tribute show for Asheem in Delhi and Mumbai.

Day 3 started with a disappointing performance by The Riot Peddlers. They sounded like a college band auditioning for a competition.

Advaita's sarangi player Suhail Yusuf Khan with his new project called Projekt S.

Delhi based pop-rock band, Faridkot.

Lounge Piranha, backstage.

Siddharth Coutto fronting his band Tough on Tobacco.

Junkyard Groove, from Chennai, gave a fun performance with front man Ameeth Thomas stripping down to his vest and then throwing the vest into the crowd as well.

Zero got together for the a country wide tour starting from NH7 Weekender. Ravi Chari also joined them for a track.
